Every year GAIA Inc offers a Conference of international standing that brings together people from all over Australia (and internationally) who love and celebrate the Goddess. This year it will be held in Pennant Hills Sydney from the 26th to 28th October. Follow this link for more details: http://www.goddessassociation.com.au/events.html
The theme for this year’s conference is “The Wellspring”. Conference organisers describe it thus:
a place of community gathering ~ a place to explore our wise ways ~ a place of movement and expression ~ a place of celebrating the receptive waters of woman and the moon ~ a place to share how we can preserve our sacred Earths waters. A place of creativity and fun, of learning and sharing of experiences and knowledge ~ a place to be embraced and nourished with the wisdom of the Primordial Mothers
My experience with GAIA has been personal and in previous years I served as a committee member and produced the newsletter so I have a love for GAIA and it is near and dear to my heart. I have attended many Australian conferences and even presented in years gone by, and so it is that I feel called to present once more and am offering a workshop called “The Womb as Wellspring”. Here is my offering:
Your Womb is the wellspring of your essence as a Woman. Naturally, it holds all that you are and can be, both sexually and creatively. Whether you are aware of it or not, the Womb of Creation supports, informs and nourishes your every move, your every breath, and every emotion, with Love. When we slow down, drop into the body and listen to the pelvic bowl, there is a great deal of deep intuitive and creative brilliance on offer. One of the barriers to accessing this wisdom is energetic blockages that retain body memories either physically or emotionally around mistrust of the masculine, sex without love, abortions or miscarriages, birthing traumas or physical violence.
In sacred ritual space we will activate the yoni and womb through kundalini pranic breath and sound, employing our sacred Shakti energy to open and clear, before dropping deep into the womb of GAIA. While being held in this safe space, we will then shamanically journey in through the yoni and the cervix, the sacred gateway to the womb, healing, clearing and releasing as we go. Then we will dance to shake it out and balance our energies.
In my role as the Goddess of Sacred Sex I continually come across women who are blocked in their sexual energies. Their beautiful feminine Shakti energy is shut down and they are not feeling sexual nor able to access the creative power of their sacral chakra. Likewise they may have experienced some form of sexual abuse and the energetic imprint from however long ago remains lodged in the yoni and womb. This is powerful work, wonderfully clearing work and I am honoured to be able to help women open to the potential of their sexual being.
So if you attending this years Goddess Conference I would love to connect with you; come up and say hello and introduce yourself. If you are thinking about attending and haven’t yet made up your mind, well then hesitate no longer. These are wonderful events that bring together a sisterhood of women that I have found nowhere else outside of my own priestess sisters; women in support of each other, non-judgmental, loving and caring and all with a unified desire to honour the Great Mother. If you have never experienced such a community of love and support, then look no further.
The ethos of GAIA is to bring Goddess back into the life of our land, ourselves and our society. We believe that the return of Goddess is crucial for the healing of the planet.
The main focus of the Australian Goddess Conference is to re-energises community through three days of ceremony, ritual, storytelling, teaching, music, dance, workshops, creative play and festive feasting in honour of Goddess. There truly is something for everyone.
My soul is always renewed after attending each conference. For further details about how to obtain tickets and see whose offering what workshops, check out this link: http://www.goddessassociation.com.au/events.html
Love to see you there. And if you are interested in the workshop I am offering or any of the other workshops I present on sacred sexuality and the goddess and would like me to present locally for your group, just get in touch and we shall see what can be organised to bring me to you.
Blessings always,
Kerri
