The goddess and the sacred feminine has long been my passion, fuelled by my disenchantment with patriarchal religions which saw me seek alternative expressions of the divine, immersing myself in the manifold expressions of the new age movement through the 90’s.  I became a massage therapist, Seichim channel, Reiki Master, cranio sacral practitioner, a chakra dancer, counsellor and indulger in numerous other healing therapies, but the goddess remained an underlying theme throughout.

In 2005 I underwent training to become a Kundalini dance facilitator with Leyolah Antara in Byron Bay.  This intensely physical and practical training was aimed at opening the energetic centres of the body known as chakras, to facilitate the awakening of the kundalini serpent within my body.  This had a profound effect on my ability to physically experience the sacred and the hugely sexual nature of kundalini energy totally transformed my connection to source.

At the end of 2005 I travelled to India, spending time in Pune at the Osho Ashram cultivating meditation techniques and further working with the kundalini.  On returning to Australia, I taught kundalini dance for a number of years but was profoundly influenced by the divine feminine shakti energy which flavoured the range of dance workshops I facilitated thereafter.

In 2006, in conjunction with the commencement of my Masters Studies I joined an Order of Priestess women called the Pomegranate Grove.  There I underwent training in Goddess Lore to become an Initiated Priestess of Goddess on the Summer Solstice in December 2007.  I continued my priestess studies and took second level initiation as Hand Maiden of Goddess in 2009 which entailed a personal journey with one goddess over the entire 13 months.  I chose to journey with Inanna and she opened me to awareness of the sacred prostitute.  At the same time I held the committee post of Promotions Officer for the Goddess Association in Australia (GAIA) and produced the organisation’s newsletters for two years.

In 2008 I completed my Master of Religious Studies at University of Queensland writing a thesis entitled “HIEROS GAMOS: Sacred Sexuality Ancient and Modern. How is sacred sexuality manifesting in a current western milieu and what is the emerging role of the modern day Sacred Prostitute”.  Interviewing those women who called themselves modern day sacred prostitutes, mirrored the journey I was undergoing with the Goddess Inanna and as I researched her academically for my thesis, I experienced her personally as priestess, channelling her wisdom and descending into the underworld to die and be reborn.  I am Priestess of Inanna and hold the archetype of the sacred prostitute within.

As a speaker I have been interviewed for radio and magazines and presented for numerous organisations including the Australian Goddess Association and Women’s Wellbeing.  I have published numerous articles in national magazines and am currently penning my first book on the channelled memories of a past life as priestess in the goddess temple of Ishtar.

As a facilitator of workshops on the sacred feminine, I continue to offer opportunities for women to awaken the goddess and the sacred feminine Shakti energies.  With a programme comprising dance workshops, full moon temples, shadow work with the dark goddesses and a three part series “Reclaiming the Sacred Feminine”, my intention is to invoke the goddess back into women’s lives to awaken their authentic sexual nature and to know themselves as divine.
