What is Sexological Bodywork
Sexological Bodyworkers are somatic sex educators which means we work with embodied practices, allowing the body itself to guide and support processes which assist in learning about erotic development. We offer experiential learning opportunities that can consciously access profound ecstatic and erotic states.
Sexological Bodyworkers teach through somatic body experiences how to nurture, deepen or awaken the sensual and erotic self. These experiences can include coaching in breath, movement, body awareness, boundary-setting, communication, anatomy, massage, erotic trance and other body-based teaching about sex. We are trained to do genital and anal touch for education, healing and pleasure. We touch in ways that assist individuals in developing presence within their body, helping them to feel more alive.
Sexological bodywork is a wonderful way to address all kinds of sexual problems, ranging from difficulty with orgasm to releasing shame and energetic blocks from the genitals. Couples can learn to navigate sexual differences and explore new erotic possibilities with body-based learning and guided practice.
We all set limits on the quantity and quality of pleasure we allow ourselves to receive. We live in a culture that shames sexuality and fails to teach us how to honor and celebrate our erotic energy. Sexual wounding becomes locked as a memory in the body’s tissues and responses. Through a process called mapping, this work can assist in releasing areas that are blocked through sexual trauma, abuse, childbirth or medical procedures, allowing an expansion into greater pleasure.
When we experience nervousness or anxiety around sexual experience, we release a cascade of stress hormones including adrenaline and cortisol. We breathe more quickly and shallowly, our heart rate increases, our gut clenches. Blood leaves the genital tissues and we lose our capacity for feeling fully. Sexological bodywork aids the individual to open up their body with breath and deep relaxation. With slow, careful and skillful touch, given in a very safe situation, completely controlled by the individual’s permission, pleasure can once more be experienced.
Scar tissue can present another limit to pleasure, and Sexological Bodyworkers are trained in scar tissue remediation and healing techniques. Women who have scarring associated with childbirth and C sections, can find a reduction in sensation caused by the tightness and pain at the site of the scar. With healing massage, adhesions and tightness can be released, returning sensation, freedom and pleasure to the area.
As a spiritual practice, pleasure helps us connect with the divine within and around us. A sexological bodywork session can teach you how to consciously access profound ecstatic and erotic states. You can learn to tune in to sexual energy, to move it and to amplify it. You can learn to give your sexuality focused attention, and go deeply into its beauty and mystery. Sexual energy can be experienced as transformative spirit, an aspect of the sacred, a way to dance in union with all that is. Interacting with love and mindfulness while making deep connection from this core part of the self, can allow the sacred to manifest in ourselves and others.

About Kerri
Kerri is a woman of goddess, an international workshop facilitator, speaker, writer and author teaching and sharing on sacred sexuality, the goddess and the divine feminine. Her intention is to invoke the goddess back into the lives of men and women and to awaken their authentic sexual nature in order that they may know themselves as divine. She is a qualified kundalini and chakra dance facilitator, teaching through the medium of dance how to awaken and utilise kundalini and shakti energy. She is an initiated Priestess of the Goddess with the Order of the Pomegranate Grove and wrote her masters thesis on HIEROS GAMOS: Sacred Sexuality Ancient and Modern”.
She most recently completed her studies to become a sexological bodyworker and is using this deeply intimate and powerful modality to assist individuals to heal their shame and sexual wounding. She lives on a magnificent property in Uki where she is residing priestess of a sacred temple space there, offering her work to the world.

Sacred Temple Space
Kerri lives on a beautiful mountain retreat property in Uki, northern New South Wales, where she offers her sessions from her yurt temple in sacred space. As a priestess she conducts all her sessions as a ritual and you will be invited to participate as she weaves a space of safety, healing and love around you.
